Terms of use
Last updated: 14 August 2026
The terms on which this website is made available to you.
1. Who we are
Long Bright Life operates this website. A registered legal entity for the publication has not yet been established; when one exists it will be named here. A monitored contact address is being set up and will be published on our contact page.
2. Acceptance
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
3. Health information
This site publishes general health information, not medical advice. Your use of it is subject to our medical disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
4. Permitted use
You may read, print and share our pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link to the original page.
5. Restrictions
- Do not republish substantial parts of our content, or use it to train, fine-tune or build a competing dataset or product, without our written permission.
- Do not scrape, crawl or harvest the site in a way that degrades it for others.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure.
- Do not use the site for anything unlawful or to misrepresent it as your own.
6. Intellectual property
The content, design, wordmark and logo of Long Bright Life are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you.
7. Third-party links
We link to third-party sites we consider relevant. We do not control them, we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we provide it “as is”. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time. This site is currently a pre-launch edition and its content is incomplete.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our privacy policy and cookie policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the law applicable where the publication is established. Because the operating entity is not yet registered in a named jurisdiction, we are not stating a governing law or exclusive forum here rather than stating one we cannot yet stand behind. This section will be completed when the entity is registered. Your mandatory local consumer rights are not affected.
