About Long Bright Life
Last updated: 14 August 2026
Independent, evidence-led editorial and decision intelligence for women in midlife — beginning with menopause and the years that follow.
What we publish
Long Bright Life exists to make good decisions easier in the second half of life. We read the research, describe what is actually known, say plainly where the evidence is thin or contested, and connect all of it to the choices people are really weighing — including cost, effort, side effects and the questions worth taking to a clinician.
Our first area of focus is sleep and cooling during menopause, because it is where the gap between what people are told and what the evidence supports is unusually wide.
Where the site currently stands
This is a pre-launch edition. The homepage, this set of editorial and legal policies, and our consent tooling are live. Our guides, reviews, comparisons and research library are in preparation and will appear as they are published. We would rather show you an honest, small site than a large one padded with placeholders.
How we are funded
Long Bright Life is independently owned. We expect to earn revenue in future from affiliate commissions and, potentially, advertising. Neither is in place today. When either begins, it will be disclosed on the relevant pages and described in our affiliate disclosure and advertising policy. Commercial relationships never determine our editorial conclusions.
Editorial independence
Long Bright Life maintains editorial independence. Our content is developed through evidence review, transparent methodology and clearly disclosed commercial relationships. Our editorial standards and research method describe exactly how that works in practice, including what we do not yet do.
